Design Ideas

If you are like many people, you want to put tile in your home, but you don't know how to arrange them. First, if you really are uncertain how to proceed, I would like to urge you to find a qualified Kitchen and Bath Designer, to help with your tile layout.

They will have plenty of tile fireplace ideas and also tile arrangements for kichens and baths. I find that many of the people who come to my website are determined do-it-yourselfers. I commend you! You can find helpful links on the right side of this page. Although I am not a Kitchen or a Bath designer, I am happy to help you where I can. Feel free to call me or email me.

The tile Calculator lets you know how many tiles you will need based on the size of the tile and the square footage of the area you are tiling. This number is the exact amount you will need, but it is recommended that you add an additional 10% because some tiles will need to be cut. It’s easy to calculate how many tiles are needed to complete your next project. Calculated the tiles required by simply entering in the size of the tile (the size of one side of the tile in inches) and the total square footage of the area to be tiled below.
