OLD COPPER GLAZE:

This green glaze works beautifully on textured tiles, and can turn out anywhere from olive to aqua, depending on the thickness and position in the kiln. It is mostly matte, but with a hint of a satin shine on some tiles. On my field tiles I put it on terra-cotta clay, and a bit of the clay body shows through.

MAPLE GLAZE:

This tawny, satin glaze, shows tiny speckles when viewed up close. It can vary from almost matte to lightly glossy, depending on thickness. Tiles in this warm hue work well in concert with the green tiles, serving to balance the cool green.

FUDGE GLAZE:

This rich glaze really makes me think of making fudge! Just like fudge, it can be satin or glossy. I have included it because it echoes the tones of dark woodwork so prevalent in Bungalows.

COPPER GLAZE:

This is a true metallic glaze. This will work well installed on a kitchen backsplash, next to your gleaming copper pots. I use it in small areas on my 6-inch Accent tiles, paired with green glaze. This glaze combination is fast becoming my signature style.
